- This new offering is partnered with the Hibberd STEM program and will offer our students expanded opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.
- Parent Square Communication
- Westview will be moving towards communicating through Parent Square as opposed to other communication channels to provide a unified place to stay informed.
- New Hours for CIS
- Our CIS coordinator, Bob McFarland, is your go to if your family needs assistance and can help provide clothes, food, and even connect you with other resources. His hours will be from approximately 9:00 am - 1:30 pm Monday through Thursday.

Morning Breakfast and Drop-off Times
In order to provide consistency in student supervision, the time for morning drop-off and walkers has stayed the same as last year. Drop-off and walkers may enter the school at 7:30 am, with breakfast being served in the cafeteria until 7:50 am. Breakfast for K-4 students will only be served in the cafeteria this year. Please note that students eating breakfast need to arrive before 7:50.
Transportation Changes:
If you are going to change how your student is going home, please contact the office 765-973-3445. This needs to be done before 2:00 (1:00 on Tuesdays). We cannot get students off the bus once they are on the bus. We would like to ensure all of our students arrive to their destination safely.
Bus Safety:
The safety of our students is of upmost importance including while riding the bus to and from school and during field trips. We will be addressing bus safety and bus expectations with all students and work with bus drivers and bus aids to ensure expectations are being met. We also encourage families to talk with your child about the importance of staying seated while riding the bus, following adult instructions, keeping hands to ourselves, and using kind words. We want to encourage a safe and positive start and end of the day for all students and appreciate your support in our efforts.
Outdoor Recess:
With the ever changing weather, please remind students to dress for the weather and wear appropriate clothing for the season. As it gets colder, a warm coat, gloves, and a hat are best to make sure that your child can stay comfortable at recess ( If you need assistance, please let us know and we are happy to find ways to provide for student needs).
